Cervantes "Other" Famous Novel

It can be a curse for an author to have a magnus opus because it can overshadow their other great works. As you hear Cervantes' name, pictures of knights errant, comical squires, and "giant" windmills instantly pop into your mind (you just can't help it!). The Exemplary Novels of Cervantes is a collection of short stories or novellas that impart some kind of moral lesson. If you have read Don Quixote and liked it, I would highly suggest you read this book. If you haven't but are interested in the daily happenings in 16th century Spain, you should also read it.

A very insightful and well explained book. I was able to understand the logic as Joni has given numerous examples in her book and how the stars play such a vital role in all our lives. My understanding of how astrology can be used to our benefit is so apparant after reading this. It is not a short cut to making money but a method to harness the energies of the planets to better our prospects.

Great information for someone looking to know when their lucky times are

I have studied Western Astrology for years. The concepts in this book work well with either the Western system or with Vedic. Good information about what to look for in your chart to determine the times when you will be most lucky or successful. I have so far not found another book that gave me as much information and insight into this topic.
Most of us become very myopic and want to know that my good luck in romance or business or money is happening now. Sometimes it does not.. If we can open our vision to the big picture of our lives, this system can help us plan and be ready for those good times and therefore make them even better.
If you know you are not in a lucky period, why buy lottery tickets? If you know when you are in a lucky period, that is the time to buy. There is not guarantee that you will win but your chances are much better. This book can help you determine when those times are.

Great Primer Level for ETC

My daughter is just beginning the process of identifying letters and learning phonics to build her reading skills. This book is a great beginner book. I love that it identifies a few main consonants and really focuses on learning them. There are a wide variety of skills used to support this learning. She loved all the various activities and it really helped cement those concepts. It would likely get to be too repetitive for a child who was moving quickly through the letters and sounds but it has been great for us with a bit of a slower pace. Love this program and this a great primer level option!

The Editors

Ronald L. Braithwaite, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine, director of research in the Department of Family Medicine, and a professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta. He is the coeditor of Prisons and AIDS from Jossey-Bass.

Sandra E. Taylor, PhD, is a professor and chair in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta. Taylor and Braithwaite are coeditors of the first and second editions of Health Issues in the Black Community from Jossey-Bass.

Henrie M. Treadwell, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Health and Preventive Medicine and director of Community Voices and the Men's and Reentry Health Initiative at the National Center for Primary Care at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta. Dr. Treadwell served for 16 years as program director at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
